Member Today I have a very strange test result, and I'm not sure if it's a colored evap line, a curved positive, or the filtered dye from the control line. AF 6 days late and I haven't had any of my usual symptoms of the pm. I started the test, stared at for a minute, so our roommate was hitting the bathroom door saying he needed to shower while he was behind to work. I picked up the test, and sat it on top of my makeup in a wicker basket (even the surface) and put a makeup paddle on top of it. He took a five-minute shower. I went after him and checked the test, and I see this: https://i47.tinypic.com/2m2i4nl.jpg It doesn't show much in the photos, but there's no mistake taking the line is very pink. I seriously think having the test on a surface that may not have been perfectly flat caused the line dye to filter with the urine in the test. Has anyone had this? Here are 2 more photos taken this afternoon, about 6 hours later. I've been getting all the BFN lines, within the gray/shadow time limit, or Evaps since I started testing at 11 o'clock. I have one (false?) positive at 14 dpo I think, in a dollar tree test but I have 2 negs of the same urine cup 30 minutes later, with a FRER and DT. I also have all the negatives with FMU & Frer after that. You don't have to say I'm pretty confused. I'm almost a week late, but I can't get a solid answer. Today I tried with FMU & after the dye in the window cleared about 4 minutes, there was nothing there but a grey shade line where a bfp should be. Yesterday's result had to be from me moving the test right after it started. I'm disappointed, but it's something I expected. The Af is 7 days late now, and there are still no signs or symptoms of it. I am thinking that maybe this is just a rare cycle for me " I ovulated late or not, because the only symptoms I am experiencing is a TOTAL lack of policies, and digestion problems. I made a $5 bet with my DH coming in 3 days, he bet 4. Lol If she doesn't come then I'll try again... If I can take that long... New member I had one like this on an ANSWER mark... and I was PG... when I called them they said that sometimes the small area for the TEST side doesn't always agree. Sprinkle the Test Enzymes in the machine strip when they test, and sometimes it's twisting.... I immediately put on a different brand then day and yes, that was also positive.
